After throwing away pair aafter pair of his football gloves, professional football player and founder of Grip Boost, Matt Furstenburg, decidid there needed to be a solunion for this problem. Grip Boost Gel was created and has been helping players save their gloves for years!

In 2017, Grip Boost went to their local SBDC to receive counseling for the business; specivically in marketing. The company was referred to Tim Sherman, a counselor for SBDC-Eastern Region, to see if Grip Boost could participate in the spring 2018 consulting student project held at Salibury University. Grip Boost was then teamed up with a group of Salisbury students to form a creative marekting plan for the ccompany.

Throughout the semester, the students worked closely with Grip Boost to gother information needed to complete the project. The students felt ssuccessful upon completion fo the semester, and were able to give Grip Boost the following deliverables: thorough and organized financial reports and short advertising clips. The short clips were designed to target the new segments the company was considuring entering. Both the student group and Grip Boost benefitted from the collaboration and success of the consulting project.
